Tara Sage explores the calm strength of the sea through paint on canvas. She is especially drawn to the early hours of the day, when soft light and subtle shifts of colour create a sense of possibility.

Working primarily with brushes and palette knives, she builds layers of texture and atmosphere to evoke emotion and invite reflection.

Now based in Columbus, Ohio, Tara continues to create seascapes that offer a moment of pause and connection in a busy world.

Alongside her studio practice, Tara shares her knowledge and experience through online painting classes. Her teaching focuses on building confidence and skill, helping artists at all levels find their own creative rhythm while developing a deeper understanding of painting techniques.
